"I did a special charm on your broom," Luna said serenely, glancing over at Ginny, "So you won't have to worry about any nargles distracting you during the match."
Ginny smiled and squeezed Luna's hand. "Thanks. But how did you manage to get my broom?"
Without changing her pace or her tone of voice at all, Luna replied simply, "Wouldn't you like to know," almost as though it were an actual question.
Ginny smirked. "Well, I did ask, so it would seem that I would like to know, wouldn't it?" Luna turned to fully face her for the first time since they had begun their walk in the woods, but instead of explaining how she had managed to get a hold of Ginny's broom, she leaned in and pressed her lips gently to Ginny's in an instant that Ginny strongly suspected time-turners were involved in, it lasted so long. Then, just as suddenly as it had begun, Luna dropped Ginny's hand and skipped away towards the quidditch pitch.
"That was for good luck," Luna called back to the red-headed girl, her voice seeming to float just as Luna did back towards Ginny.
Ginny touched her lips and grinned, feeling like the luckiest girl in the world to be dating Luna Lovegood.
